The Fool asked: what is the destiny of the dead in the middle world? How do the spirits of the dead appear in the middle world?

The Wise Old Man showed the Fool the two motifs for the souls of the dead in the middle world:

Motif 1 — Gray, no taste or smell, a song repeating over and over “If I only had a heart,”, the Tin-man from the Wizard of Oz appeared
The Fool asked: how can I help those who are stuck here? The Wise Old Man said: show them tenderness, watch the movie with them.

Motif 2 — Murky, shallow puddle, the sound of moans and groans, the smell of overpowering air fresheners, the taste of sour medicine
The Fool asked: how can I help those who are stuck here? The Wise Old Man said: show them humor in the situation, if you can find it.
